How do I find a title to borrow?
How do IOnce you have set up your device, have a Read Liverpool account and have logged in, there are several ways for you to find a title to enjoy.
Select a cover image from any of the lists.
You can quickly tell which titles are available and which ones you can place on hold by the format icon in the top-right corner of a cover image.
If a title isn’t available, the icon will be greyed out.
You can borrow up to 8 titles. The lending period may vary from title to title.
- Sign in to your account.
- Click the 'Settings' link.
- Select your preferred lending period for each format, then click ‘Done’.
Renew
The option to renew a title will appear on your bookshelf within three days of the title’s expiration date.
Return
Some titles can be returned before they expire. If you have not downloaded a title, you’ll be able to return it from your bookshelf.
If you download a title, its ‘Return Title’ button will disappear from your bookshelf, but you may be able to return it.
You can place up to 4 titles on hold at one time.
You’ll receive an email notification when a title becomes available.
Once the notice is sent, you’ll have 3 days to borrow the title.
If you don’t retrieve it in time, the title will be made available to the next user on the list.
- Sign in to your account.
- Click the 'Holds' link.
- Click a title's 'Remove' link to remove it from your Waiting List.

Unfortunately, not all publishers make their books available to eLibraries like Read Liverpool, so please be aware that we are restricted to what is in the current catalogue.
